How to file an RTI Application

A citizen of India who desires to obtain an information under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Act) may make a request by sending an application to the Public Information Officer, Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited, 7^th Floor, Indira Bhawan, Boring Canal Road, Patna,  PIN - 800015.

Application Fee

An application for obtaining information under the RTI Act shall be accompanied by a fee of Rs.10/-.

Mode of Payment

Fee can be paid by postal order or court fee stamp or by demand draft or banker cheque drawn in favour of Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited.

Persons who belong to BPL (below poverty line) are not required to pay any fee, provided copy of the certificate issued by the appropriate Government in this regard is submitted along with the application.

Additional Fee

In case additional fees are required for providing information, the applicant will be informed about the same.

Such additional fee for providing information shall be charged at the rates as specified in the Right to Information Rules, 2012.
